In the Hexachordal Space series, there is a division between the upper two bands of lines and the lower two bands of lines. The marks made through subtraction and the marks made through addition flow through and between each other, emulating the natural condensation and precipitation of water between the atmosphere and ocean. The horizontal orientation equalises this flow—allowing fluidity and structure to exist in equilibrium across visible and invisible frequencies. Similar to sound travelling from a furin, one mark coming into existence continues to resonate through the rendering of a second mark.
